Vehicle Detail
Here is your chance to own a true beauty! Originally purchased for wife, later decided she was happier as a passenger. So you could say this bike was a labor of love. This is was a restoration bike of over a year. It is completely road ready, with many new and NOS parts. I'm a guy who really appreciates the stock bikes and I hope it shows. The engine has had a complete top end rebuild. At no point in the engine did I use after market parts. The pistons, piston rings, seals, points and gaskets are all Honda original parts. Cylinder was honed by a professional in a motorcycle shop. At 145 miles on a newly rebuilt engine. The engine is strong, purrs like a kitten, no oil leaks and runs clean. This is fast, great running little bike. Here is a list of other NOS (the ones I remember) parts used to bring back this classic back to life: -Head light rim -Both handle controls, handle bar -Tachometer and Speedometer instruments -Points and points plate -Brake panel, rectifier-CB450 emblems, petcock-Brake cable, clutch cable-Speedo cable-Alternator cover mirrors- Handle grips-All external engine screws and bolts-Front and rear brake pads-Gas tank lid cover-Full signal set front and rear-Color match paint job from professional painter who has done hundreds of CBs. New parts: -New tires and tubes-Battery-Fresh change of oil-Drive chain Notes! -The clutch and shifting seems to work great with no false neutral shifts. -Front forks have been rebuilt with new seals, Honda NOS parts. -The front and rear brakes work flawlessly and near zero off brake grabbing and proper firmness at the front lever. Both master cylinder and brake caliper have been rebuilt with Honda parts! The master cylinder is nice and still retains much of its black original color. -Front fender is actually new NOS, but does have a small blemish under the support -Battery is new but could probably use a stronger one as the compression makes it hard to turn. -Rear suspension is soft, although this is a normal complaint for the CB450 of its day Honda key chain included with clean Virginia Title! New fuel lines and of course petcock.
