Up for Sale: 1965 Ford Econline E100 Pickup My grandfather purchased this car new in 1965. I have the original Bill of Sale, Owners Manual, Ford Truck Owner Identification Card to go along with the truck. This truck is a great survivor. It has had one respray in the 70's and that is the only body work ever done to the truck. It does have slight rust on the body where the bed and body meet (see photos). Overall it is in great condition with minimal rust. The cab roof does not have any rust. The glass is original and in good shape. It came with the 170 ci engine, custom equipment package, 3050# axle, special promotion package, 695x14 4p wsw tires, and FA heater for a grand total of $2,333.80. I intended to restore the truck a few years ago and spent $4,000 on rebuilding the original engine, driveline, and brakes, etc, but have not proceeded from there. I just don't have the time to enjoy the truck and want it to find a good home! It hasn't been driven in 5 years, and currently won't start, but when it was parked it was licensed, tagged, and driving on the roads. I would imagine that it could be running in an afternoon. It appears that there is slight bubbling of the paint on the inside of the tailgate where the hinges are located. It is dinged and dented, but that is expected.
