Vehicle Detail

This truck has been owned since 2003 and has undergone a multiple year frame off restoration. Below are the details of the restoration and update of the truck. Engine: 350 CI (5.7 Liter) 4 bolt main engine. Contains all new crank, rods, bearing, flat top pistons 10:1, rings, gaskets, high volume oil pump, new oil pan, new water pump, 2.02" / 1.60" heads, with roller tip rockers, 350/350Hp cam, hydraulic lifters, Edebrock aluminum intake, Edebrock carb, new HEI distributor, SS coated headers, and tasteful chrome. There is a new radiator, new battery, and all new belts, hoses, etc. Complete dual exhaust installed all the way back. Includes new Smitty mufflers, and Echo can tips. Perfect and crisp exhaust note. Transmission: Chevy 350 Turbo transmission, new convertor. Chassie: Updated to Camaro Z28 front suspension and steering. Independent front suspension, sway bars, disk brakes, and Z28 steering have all be updated to the front end. Rear has been changed out to a POSI rear from a Camaro Z28. A custom drive shaft has been purchased and installed. All new body mounts installed. Truck has no squeaks or rattles. Solid and drives excellent, tracks straight, stops straight. New brakes, shocks, lines, new master cylinder, etc. Paint & Body: Truck has been completely repainted with base clear PPG paint. Overall color is Chevy truck Silver with a ghost flame overlay on the front end. Custom pin striping has been painted on in a few key areas by a striper who works for Chip Foose. Overall paint and body is very good. Truck was trailered to Good Guys Street Rod Nationals in Colorado a few years ago and was very well received. It is not perfect, but it is very very nice. New chrome bumper was installed on the front. Out back the custom tailgate shows a stamped chevy Bowtie. To light up the back are frenched 1964 Impala tail lights with blue dots. Finally the rear of the truck has a roll pan that rolls down to the 3" stainless exhaust tips and the custom fuel cell. There is a hidden gas tank door in the left rear fender to fill the tank. Bed rails have been filled and smoothed, as well as the stake pockets. Very clean and smooth. Frame was completely cleaned and painted with POR-15 frame paint. Bed floor was completely replaced with knot free white oak. Strips are all Stainless Steel with Stainless fasteners throughout. Wheels and Tires: All new aluminum wheels and tires. Tires up front are 205/75/R15 and out back are 225/75/R15 giving a little rake stance to the truck. All are new and have very little wear, like new. Interior: Custom carpet was installed with a very plush dark blue carpet. Plenty of sound deading has been installed so the hidden CD stereo tunes can be heard well. Cab is quite and comfortable. A Power Leather Seat is installed and matches up to the tilt teloscoping wheel. A custom set of gauges are installed under the dash. A 5" MONSTER Tack is also installed. Interior paint and finish is as nice as the exterior. Original gauges are installed and they do work, but they are not accurate. If I was to keep the truck I would install a set of custom gauges. They are not a difficult install and a good set can be purchased for less than $300 if you do not prefer the original gauges. Other Notes: Truck is sold with a custom bra for cruzing and keeping the paint nice. Little details are everywere, including refinished molding, trim parts, stainless fasteners, new chrome, and lots of upgrades. I'm sure I didn't mention everything. Jump in start the key and go, it will drive anywhere. Wipers are not installed, they are behind the seat if you need them. This truck has only been wet when it gets washed and waxed. The title is from Pennsylvania, the truck is in my fathers name, I have the title ready to transfer upon pickup. Vehicle is titled as a custom reconstructed vehicle as it has updated suspension and drive line. This is the law in Pennsylvania. Vehicle is available for inspection in Chesapeake, VA 23320. The only issues I can think of about the truck is that is doesn't get driven enough. That being said it occationally drops a few drops of oil or tranny fluid when it sits for long periods. After a few cruzes, they stop. Fell free to contact me to setup an inspection or for questions: 757-513-7671 Sam Vehicle is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
