Normal 0 Here is a 1962 Cadillac Convertible - one the the best looking years for Cadillac! It's a good car, runs great, and is a solid western car with California Year of Manufacture License plates. This car is equipped with: 390 cubic inch V-8 - runs good! 4 speed Hydramatic transmission - Rebuilt! no leaks! Power windows - all 6 of 'em work great, including the power vent windows Power top - works great 6 way Power seat - tilt works ok, forward & back does not. Power brakes - work fine Power steering - works fine Factory radio - not working Modern stereo /CD hidden in the glovebox - works great Remote mirror - works fine Excellent dashboard and very good interior chrome. All gauges work. Excellent trunk area, with cardboard , correct spare and jack, and rust free. Totally rust free except for lower right fender and one spot on right rocker panel. The floors, the trunk, the rear lower fenders are all excellent rust free factory sheetmetal. Excellent tires and correct hubcaps. It will need some restoration work - The paint is old - looks better in the photos than it does in real life. there are a number of doordings/scratches/touchups. The top fabric needs to be replaced. The seats and carpeting should be redone. The exterior chrome is good original - good enough for a driver, not good enough to show. The engine bay and undercarriage have all the signs of a car that has been driven. The engine leaks a bit of oil. I've driven the car on the freeway, and it runs and drives nicely. THERE IS NO COOLING OFF PERIOD UNLESS YOU OBTAIN A CONTRACT CANCELLATION OPTION. California law does not provide for a "cooling off" period for vehicle lease or purchase contracts. Therefore, you cannot later cancel such a contract simply because you change your mind, decide the vehicle costs too much, or wish you had acquired a different vehicle. After you sign a motor vehicle purchase or lease contract, it may only be cancelled with the agreement of the seller or lessor or for legal cause, such as fraud. However, California law does require the seller to offer a 2 day contract cancellation option on used vehicles with a purchase price of less than $40,000, subject to certain statutory conditions.
