RELISTED ITEM DUE TO NON-PAYING BUYER. This is a project I am not going to get to anytime soon, other cars and renovating our home have taken priority. Clean title in hand. This car was rescued from 25 years in storage, some work has been done on the engine in order to get the car to run, but no work has been done on the bodywork or mechanicals (brakes, suspension etc). Would make a decent parts car, or a good project for an autocross, maybe track car. Car has typical rust for a 2002, driver side floor pan has a hole right by the gas pedal, trunk floor where spare sits is rusted through. Almost every panel has some rust. Engine work was done as follows: New starter (Bosch), coil, wires, plugs, rotor, cap, points, Weber 32/36 w/electric choke (NEW!), fuel pump, water pump, belt, thermostat, hoses, battery, valve cover gasket, intake manifold gaskets. Engine runs very strong, but needs new mounts to be perfect. Brake booster vacuum line is missing, so no vacuum assist as-is. Carhas been desmogged, with a quarter used to cap the port on the front of the exhaust manifold for those that know the trick. Interior is so-so, stock seats are clean but hard (stuffing can be heard crinkling) and carpet is original, mainly clean with a few stains. Factory a/c unit was pulled and I have a few pieces of it. Wheels are not original, from 320i (radial) with new Yokohama Avid H4 tires. 99.9% tread remaining. A few items not installed will go with the car...... rear shock mounts, tie rods, spare filters etc. I also have the old parts that were replaced, good as spares. Have a few tins and containers of various nuts, bolts, parts and pieces. Just looking to recoup some of the money invested so far, and to see her go to a good home. Thanks for looking.
