Vehicle Detail
Selling my 1985 Honda Big Red. 250cc, Shaft Drive, Reverse, Full Suspension This machine is in Excellent to Mint Condition. I bought it from the original owners in 2009. The older gentleman who owned it could no longer use it. I have put literally no more than 2 or 3 miles on it since I’ve owned it because the day I bought it and brought it home, I realized the amazing original condition it was in and I never wanted to take it anywhere and scratch it up. So all I ever use is my four-wheeler and this one just sits in the shed. I have noticed sometimes the carb very slowly drips a little fuel, then it just stops. Maybe dirt in the needle or something. Here are the flaws on it: There are scuffs on the rear back fenders, some on the front and on the top where things were carried on the rack, and there are a few tiny chips in the tank. There are chips in a couple of the decal stickers. The battery box under the seat has paint chipped off and some rust on it. I was going to have the battery box sand blasted down and powder coated but never did it. The back rack is scratched and chipped on the top from things carried on it. The left rear tire rim has small chipping and rust in a few spot around the outside edge on the original paint. The add-on windshield is scuffed and scratched and has a couple small cracks. Im sure there are other small chips, scratches or scuffs from use as well but that should be expected, I am just pointing out that there are flaws but they are small. Check out the pictures, you can judge the condition for yourself. I haven’t touched up anything on it. Feel free to email me with any questions. As I have pointed out, it’s not perfect, but in my opinion, there are not many in this condition. These did not have a title in Minnesota, only Registration. MN registration will go with the machine; it was last registered in 2008. Also, here is a short video link of the machine that you can click to hear it run. Please note that my camera was dropped and is ready to be replaced. So by coincidence, you'll notice the moment I turn the key “ON” in the video, my camera’s Auto-Focus gears start making a buzzing noise that you can hear for a second – just so you know it’s not the Honda making that noise, it’s the camera. Here’s the link you can click or paste into your browser: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ta5-lOJcV3g Also - I took the Pictures in the Fall and I just took the Video today. Please be sure to read the shipping / pickup terms and also the payment terms. If your feedback is less than 5, please email me before bidding. Please ask all questions before bidding. Thank You,
