For sale is a rare 1991 Mercedes-Benz 350SD Turbo Diesel sedan. tan leather interior. Only 109,000 original miles (very low for a diesel). This car is in fantastic original condition. Paint is 100% as it left the factory and it still looks great. Garage kept most of it’s life in Northbrook, IL. (see car fax)This car looks,runs and drives great! it’s not perfect but in fantastic shape for it’s age. Engine starts immediately regardless of outside temperature. The four speed automatic transmission shifts smooth and sure, see video. All 4 power windows work perfectly. Sunroof works great.(see video) Cruise Control works perfect. Original factory radio and power antenna work as they should. Air Conditioning works as you would expect: cold. Brakes work like new. (see video) Tires are in good shape.The 350SD were only produced from 1990-1991 and, in the eyes of many, they are seen as the best diesel passenger cars ever built. Note, this is the LAST full size mechanical car Mercedes built. No electronics to give you problems. I have driven this car about 17,000 miles since October 2010. It gets about 28 mpg on the hwy at reasonable speeds.Its been a GREAT car, now it needs a new home. I now have a company car. Can be picked up or shipped at $1.10 per loaded mile.
