Up for sale today is extremely rare 1980 Rover SD1 3500 in very very nice condition. The car only has 89300 miles and has always had indoor storage. The car is equipped with the original 3.5 liter V8 motor. Has the bulletproof Rover automatic transmission. Averages 18-25 MPG!It has a brand new distributor and stainless steel exhaust from Rimmer Bros! The AC is ice cold, since the compressor was replaced last summer. The interior is that classic 80's velour and in nice shape, the seats look great!! On the door panels the velour is coming loose in a few spots from age but not bad. The car is finished in Poseidon Green Metallic paint that looks great!The only issues are some minor bubbling and surface rust areas at the bottom of the drivers rear rocker, rear hatch windows, passenger door and a few cracks in the paint on the hood. The dash has a few cracks in the plastic. Also if could use new rear hatch shocks. The engine and tranny drive strong with no issues. The tires are fairly new but wider. Consequently the front tires rub a bit and need to be replaced with 195 - 70 R14 instead of the 205's on it now. This car drives beautifully on the road. Very flat around turns and quite impressive.
