Talk about a rare find, this 24 year old classic Vette has obviously been taken care of and driven easy previous owners were elderly and then his 50+ son. It only has 66k original on her with squeaky clean carfax. Sure there are some ultra low mile never driven garage queens out there but people want 15-20k for em. THIS CAR IS GOING FOR NO RESERVE!!! thats right I know I'll regret it but someone is gonna be making that jerk neighbor jealous, with his dog poopin on your yard and using his mower at 6 in the morning on saturday. She starts right up idles smooth, no smoke or leaks. Has the reliable L98 torque monster 5.7 it has 340 lb ft of torque, thats the same as the highest Torque LT1 motor, some had even less. Paint is very glossy, has some chips but nothing major, The front bumper cover was repainted at one point due to a minor boo boo, no damage just paint, it has since touched something again no damage but a couple touched up chips (see pic). the rest of the paint is original and still nice. looks great going down the road. Drives super tight for an early C4 I never got to drive one new but I've driven tons of these and this is the tightest driving one. Traffic friendly automatic transmission shifts into all gears and smooth as butter, no leaks either. Interior very nice too less than average wear. Seats look great no rips or tears, carpet looks nice no wear. New tires rims are nice and bright, removeable targa top for upcoming spring. Digital dash works 100% A/C was just had major service, both headlights go up and down fast and even. All lights work. Has removeable targa top for springtime cruising. It is the solid top that I prefer which keeps the bright sun out and is easier on the a/c when your not in the mood. Minor defects are mirrors are sun faded as they are the only metal on the body. radio works but is weak, needs new head unit after all it is the original 24 year old one, I had borrowed a friends head unit and the speakers sounded fine so it is the headunit, I heard you can swap these out with 93-96 Camaro CD players. Sure you can get a rat Vette for 3k but it will need 10k to be this nice and won't have this low a miles. Just painting one is 3k minimum for a nice job, 800-1200 for seats 500 for full carpet, 350 for a used cluster 400+ for new tires etc etc this baby need none of that and is turn key. Gets suprisingly good gas mileage, will get mid twenties on the highway at the speed limit, even a V-6 midsize sedan is only about 30, now which would you want to drive? Forget bidding on a reserve car only to have your hopes dashed, or a "no reserve" car with too high a starting bid, starts at a buck (If it goes for a buck expect a very rude uncomfortable transaction lol). Please dont ask what I would take for it it expecting me to sell it outright for 4k I have it advertised locally for 7,300 so start from there. Great car that will give you years of reliable service.
