Very nice 1965 Corvette Roadster "survivor" with all original "born with" drive train - engine, transmission & rear end. This car has been in Kentucky since 1982. the car has had one repaint in original Ermine White lacquer in 1990. During that time the original numbers matching engine was overhauled. The exhaust was replaced with Corvette factory exhaust & the tires were replaced during this time. All gauges are working including the speedometer and the tach. The radio plays music and seeks channels. The carpets, seat covers & door panels are in great shape with little or no signs of wear. All chrome and bright work are in outstanding shape. the car is complete with its "original" second edition Corvette owner's manual & AM / FM radio instructions. The original jack, original handle, spare tire carrier & spare tire are included with the car. The engine starts up and runs strong. Out on the road the car is responsive and quiet with no rattles or road noise. The transmission shifts smooth - the rear end and transmission are quite at road speed. The shifter is the original with the "working reverse lock out" T handle. All window glass is original to the car. It is all marked with the 1965 soft ray safety plate logo (including both side vent windows). Body lines are very straight with all factory bonding seams in place.
