1966 Ford Mustang Fastback 2+2 Silver with Red Pony Interior I purchased her in 2007 from Southern Classic out of Florida for $24,500.00 which I''m sure was a little over priced. As you can see I put the initial bid at $15k with no reserve. Right off the bat I know I'm going to take a pretty big hit. Old girl is a very nice looking car which gets a lot of attention when I do take her out. When she is at the house she is kept in the garage and she doesn't go out when the weather is bad. In the four years that I have had her I've "washed" her twice. The only thing I ever have to do to take her out is hit her with a dust cloth and shine up the chrome. The paint on old girl has some blemishes but not too bad considering her age. On the interior a previous owner cut in some speaker holes in the rear passenger compartment. That's as far as they got with that project. The spring that holds up the trunk lid is not there so I've been using a pipe to prop it up when I have to get in the trunk. I don't have the original carburetor but she has a holly four barrel on her now. I've put a new battery on her a few years ago and she starts right up after two pumps on the gas pedal prior to cranking her up. I purchase a suspension kit from Global West Suspension systems a while back that is still in the box(s). If the auction gets to a good point I can throw it in with the car. The shop was about a mile round trip so something should have registered. I'm not sure if it worked when I bought her or not.
