Vehicle Detail

1972 Chevy Blazer factory 2wd, this is not a clone, Very solid California Blazer, vin cc denotes 2wd version. This Blazer has factory power steering, power disc brakes and a/c, This blazer runs and drives great, engine and trans have been rebuilt and have somewhere around 20,000 - 40,000 miles on them, the engine is a 350 with a mild rv cam and an aluminum intake with a 4 barrel edelbrock carb, it has stock GM ram horn style exhaust manifolds and a single flowmaster that exits the rear, the trans is a stock rebuilt turbo 350 with a B&M shift kit for the street. The chrome valve covers are leaking and i will try and reseal them or replace them before it is shipped. all the glass is good and the windows go up and down great, doors open and close good, suspension feels nice and tight as well as the steering, all the lights and signals work, as far as the body goes there is some rust bubbles in a few places but nothing major, this paint job is about 9 years old so it is not at all perfect, the complete inside of the floor is rhino lined from firewall to tail gate, there were a few minor patch panels in the front pans but it was minor, the floorpans and quarter panels are in great shape there is only the 1 flat panel that has bad rust holes and it is located on the d/s so please see pics........ It is an easy piece to replace and the rust is only on the flat bottom side and does not go up the sides at all so it would be an easy repair and it is not part of the floor just a support below it. The bottom of the bed and the inner quarters are excellent and still show some factory markings, around the windshield there is no rust except on the d/s right in the corner on the very top its hard to see but is visible in the pic so please look, there is also 1 spot in the inside on the d/s right on top of the dash again hard to see but is visible in pic, the inner kick panels are very solid for one of these old trucks, there is a rust hole on the d/s just below the vent in the kickpanel please see pic..... The batery tray area is very solid, the top of the inner fender just below the batery i am guessing had rust and was just cut out it looks factory but those who know would notice it, to see the area cut out requires looking under the tray it is not visible, the d/s of the core support and inner fender are excellent. There is no rear bumper at all the front one need replaced as well as the grill but they are o.k. for a driver they just dont look that great. There is no hard top for it but it does come with a brown canvas top that just snaps on, it has a rear window that zips up and down and 2 metal frames that just push in place that go arount the doors for the top to snap on, the top is missing a few buttons and the windows are yellowing but its a good top to be able to take with you incase you get caught in rain, alot easier to deal with than a hard top that is never on and you cant take with you anyway.... This blazer is a good driver as is or would make an easy restoration project that does not require a lot of metal repair, this is a good solid builder as far as blazers go. It has been in dry storage since 08 the owner was in the military, he went over seas and never made it back so that is the reason it sat so long, It was driven around the block a few times with no issues but im sure it will or does need something, but it drives great and has good power, the trans shifts great and steering is good, all the fluids look clean but they should be changed/serviced all i did was the fuel and oil. If you do not want this vehicle please do not bid on it, if you need permission get it first, any questions please call Jarrod at (619)-847-2866 This Blazer is available for viewing and test drives, If you win it please pay for it.....I will assist you in setting up towing and helping you get it to the shipper around my town San Diego not L.A.... This vehicle must be paid for within 72 hours from end of auction and picked up within 2 weeks unless there are delays due to shipping......Thanks
