1984 Honda XL600R

Lots of work has been done to this bike! Just needs the final tweaks to make it perfect. I am a full time RV'r and have ended up with more toys than I can take down the road. Time to move and thats the only reason Im selling. I have in hand 1,300.00 in recipts for engine work from a professional shop. I purchased the bike for 900.00. I have been looking these up and realize I am going to lose on this sell but I have no choice. My loss your gain is an understatement. Frame has been stripped and powdercoated Honda Red. Fresh top end rebuild. Fresh tires. Seat cover is in great shape. No key, this is a kick start only. It does start, but she's a bit tempermental. Like I said it will need the final tweaks to be made perfect. All engine work has been done by Pro's. It has a Supertrapp Exhaust that sounds awsome! I added some supermoto style plastic & also have the original plastic along with some misc. parts you can see in the picture. I used this as a daily rider but got stranded once when it would'nt start so I have not been riding it as much. With all the work done to this thing Im sure its something small that Im missing. I just want to be completly honest on this so you have no surprises. This bike IS from 1984 so bid accordingly. Its vintage, very cool and a lot of the hard work is already done.
