Up for sale is a 1988 BMW 735I automatic. This car has a very good body, tires are good, exhaust is good and solid, brakes look good. Again, the body is fabulous considering it's age. Please see the photo of the rear. Above the left rear tail light, on the trunk, is a small 2" ding. This is the "worst" feature of the body. The interior needs some of the dash reassembled. The former owner had just finished replacing the heater core, but did not finish. I charged the battery and car starts right up and drives. Many of the dash pieces are in the trunk. Some of the pieces for the dash are missing, mainly the shift console and e-brake console and two kick panels , all switches and controls are present. The parts are readily available on ebay for less than $200. The interior will require some cleanup, but is in overall pretty good condition. I believe the top of the radiator has a leak near the top hose, a new radiator costs $130. This would be a good project and looks to be a good solid car with no body or exhaust issues. car currently has two Pontiac rims on it, however I have the two BMW rims in the trunk. Front and rear tires are matching size and in very decent condition. Just swap the front tires to the original BMW rims in the trunk and that issue is done. Wal Mart will do this for $5.00. This car is located in Fairfield Ct. and can be picked up at any time. Car is sold as is, where is and comes with no warranty of any kind. I am helping out the family and this car needs to go. I am open to offers and would like to sell quickly. All ebay questions answered promptly. Car is Dark Blue with Tan interior, Body looks to need a clean and wax only. With a few interior parts and a bit of elbow grease this could be a cool first car. By the way the stereo is a Phase Linear, I dont know if thats BMW original equipment or not. To reiterate: My girlfriend bought the car for her son. We quickly found that it was FAR too much of a project for him to undertake. The middle dash alone is a project for the unflappable. There are lots of parts in trunk, but certainly not all. I can work a puzzle as well as anyone, but this one made me want to run and hide. Mechanically, although the car runs -- the radiator has definitely been patched, and will certainly need a new one installed. We drove the car around the block. That is it! The previous owner made statements such as "all lights work", etc. I trust him. But, please bid accordingly, as I know VERY LITTLE about the car personally!!!
