I have downsized and sold off my collection of bikes, this is the last and in my opinion the best, not the largest or fastest but the most fun ,cleanest ,best starting ,most reliable best all around . This was ridden mostly by my wife (about 50-60 miles ) since we have owned it.The bike is not new but pretty close to new condition. Remember it is 37 years old, was purchased for a college student to ride around campus, where it was ridden very little.The bike was stored correctly 7 months after purchase.The bike was brought out of storage and serviced in 2005 at that time it was placed in a collection of vintage bikes in Tenn. I purchased it from the collector and we have thoroughly enjoyed it mostly as a conversation piece. Anyone would love to have this bike. This is probably the cleanest bike I have seen, for the period, it is as clean underneath as it is on the tank. No issues with this bike. All electronics work as they did new,starts easy with kick or electric, idles correctly,tires appear to be original and still look new (no checking.cracking ,or dry rot) Very few cosmetic flaws with this bike. Re-chrome the minor discoloration on pipes and you would not be able to tell it from a new bike I have most of the original warranty and registration papers both original keys,owners manual, original tool kit with pouch,original brochure. This bike starts faster and runs smoother and is as tight as brand new bikes right off the show room floor. I would love for anyone to have this bike inspected or come see it in person and I believe you will agree this is a very nice bike.If you have a collection this bike is good enough for the center piece. The pictures are not as good as the live version. You will not be disappointed with any part of this bike I really encourage you to see it in person if you live close by. The bike is registered in Alabama as a Vintage Vehicle with all transfer right to new owner, NO TAG NEEDS TO BE PURCHASED AS THIS TAG REMAINS WITH THE BIKE FOR LIFE. Some states recognize this others do not ,so check with you DMV for their regulations. The Title I have in hand is a Alabama Title and is transferable to any person in all states This is the Alabama Regulation Permanent vintage vehicle license plates, available since October 1996, are provided by the Alabama Department of Revenue. Original vehicle license plates are provided by the owner and approved by the local license plate issuing official. Both plates are permanent plates and have a one-time state registration fee of $10, plus a county issuance fee. Any transfer of ownership through title transfer will be change of registration, through your county probate office.Tag will follow vehicle,If original license plate used it also will transfer to new owner.
