Relatively clean 1968 Cougar shell. The car spent most of its life in Western states. The floors, torque boxes and sub frames are the car are very nice and without any rust issues. The floors have never rusted through as most car of this vintage have. THe driver side quarter panel had been replaced with an OEM panel as the likely result of some sort of damage. Both rear quarter panels will require some body work and lower patch panels due to minor issues. It appears that the passenger side lower quarter panel was damaged from a tire blow out, however, I do see evidence of a skim coat of bondo as well. THIS IS A SHELL OF A CAR. There is no wiring, interior components, coil springs or front steering system on the car. This car would likely be best used to restore another car of greater value that suffers from rust/damage issues. The front shock towers and inner fenders are beautiful on this car. It was a small block V8 car from the factory. I have parted out several 67/68 Cougars over the years and I likely have much of the other stuff you might need/want for a Cougar restoration. The fenders you see on the car are not original to the car and their rust is not indicative of the rust on the shell. Call me with questions or trades. 248-867-3522
