Vehicle Detail
Selling for a friend who has taken ill. My buddy started this project over 10 years ago, but will be unable to complete it. Up for sale is a 1929 Model A, 2 door Rumble seat version. I believe he has a title for this car, but am not certain. The entire drivetrain has been rebuilt, including a complete engine overhaul with modern-day hardened valves, 12v charging system, etc. Brakes and suspension have all been gone over. Body is currently off frame, and in all honesty is pretty rough. I can provide additional detailed pix upon request. Package includes 6 original wheels with new tires. Please email me for any additional info, and I will do my best to answer any/all specific questions. Thank you for looking Update: Comfirmed with owner that he DOES have clear matching title to this vehicle and that the only parts that he is certain he is missing are the main dash panel and some of the turn signal parts. I took numerous additional pix today, will try and post them or email them to serious parties. Just a quick note; in case this listing looks familiar to those of you who already expressed an interest......YES this is the same vehicle that was shown as "sold/listing closed." Unfortunately, it was "sold" to one of the many jerks out there who have nothing better to do but waste other folks' time and energy. Obviously, I have relisted it, and you may notice that there is a deposit required now, just in case we run into another scammer. Sorry for any confusion. On Mar-20-11 at 18:04:54 PDT, seller added the following information:Information update, 3/20/11: I showed the car and all the parts to a rather knowledgeable gentleman today, who was able to FIND the dash panel that was previously thought to be missing. Additionally, we were able to confirm that the engine turns over relatively easily, and that all 4 "shock absorbers" are functional. The only part that seems to be missing is one of the lower window glass channels. It appears as though everything else is pretty much there. I know several people have inquired as to the dashboard and shock function. Hope this info helps. Thank You all for your interest.
