Vehicle Detail

1998 Isuzu Amigo 4 wheel drive. This is a V6 with 5 speed manual transmission. This car has power steering, air conditioning, power brakes - 4 wheel disc brakes and is a convertible. This little car runs very well and handles great in the snow with the 4 wheel drive. Everything I have mentioned works as it should, the engine, transmission, differentials, etc make no unusual noises and the car drives perfectly. The convertable top is about 16 months old, the entire exhaust system was replaced about a year ago, and the timing belt was replaced at around 100K miles. The paint has a few scratches and the interior has some marks and stains. That said, there are no dents or rust in the body that I can see and the interior has no tears. The one thing I would do to the car if I was going to keep it is to replace the right rear tire. I have taken a photo of this tire as it has just worn to the point of the little strips in the tread that tell you it is about time to replace. This car was inspected in Delaware in December and emissions, lights, brakes, and tires all passed inspection. The car is also due for an oil change. The tire and oil change would be the two things I would do if we were keeping this car. Inside, there are some of the little plastic covers missing off of the bolts that hold down the seats and the seat recliner lever. This does not impact the function of anything and unless you are really looking, no one notices. The prior owner replaced the passengers side window mechanism with a manual, hand crank mechanism. The drivers side is still the electric window. Both work fine, but it is a little odd. The only reason for selling this little car is that we bought another one on ebay (we purchased this one on ebay 4 years ago) and the one we bought has a hard top and automatic transmission. Obviously we like these cars otherwise we would not have purchased another one. Please feel free to ask me any question about this car. I have confidence that it will take you where you need to go when you need to go there. Of course, this is a used vehicle and it is not perfect. There are no serious problems with this car that I am aware of. I would rely on it as my daily vehicle anytime.
