It averages about 28 mpg and is better than any SUV I’ve ever owned in the snow! I have since bought a new car and do not have time to restore this one as originally planned. I need my garage space back! In 2006, with 125,000 miles: Replaced all fluidsReplaced timing belt and tensioner (recommended replacement every 60k)Replace water pump, thermostat, and radiator hosesReplaced all accessory drive belts Tuned valve timingNew distributer cap and rotorNew spark plugs and wiresNew brake pads and rotorsReplaced stock speaker system with Boston Acoustic components (8 pc. System)Replaced stock head unit with Kenwood eXcelon unit, includes iPod cable. Connect and control iPod through the Kenwood head unit Since 2008: New clutchReplaced left front control arm (worn bushings)New tires @ 150,000 milesNew fuel pump The less-than-perfects: Cracked windshield Needs mufflerCould use right front control arm – clunksAC does not work – never worked, haven’t tried recharging or anythingDriver’s seat side bolster is quite wornTelescoping radio antenna is brokeCoolant level sensor needs replacement – low coolant light randomly illuminates erroneously.Hood release cable broke – latch mechanism has manual release slot that can be triggered by a flat head screwdriver thru the front grillDriver’s door lock does not work with the key, using the key in the passenger door or trunk unlocks all locksSmall sections of surface rust are developing on doors, trunklid, and sunroof (see pictures)Driver's door has three small dents (see pictures) Brake rotors are a bit rusty from sitting for awhile – included are NEW front rotors and pads (not installed) The front splitter is missing in the photos, but will be installed by the time of sale. I also have four BMW decals for the wheel center caps that will be included. This car has always been well maintained mechanically including full synthetic oil changes every 3,000 miles. All in all, this car is solid, drives well, and is a real blast to own and drive. I no longer have the time nor space to keep this car around. It MUST go. The car is located in Holland, Michigan.
