Up for auction is my 1985 Jeep CJ7. It has the original 258 straight 6 cylinder with a Weber carburetor, Davis Unified Ignition system, new aluminum valve cover and gasket, and an Optima deep cycle battery. The transmission is the factory T-5 five speed. Moser one piece axles with stock gearing. This Jeep was restored with a tub from a 1995 along with the "family style" roll bar and POR 15 was used on the frame. The interior was upgraded with new seats front and rear and a Sony CD/MP3 stereo along with JL Audio speakers. The steering wheel, shifters and dash are all original and in perfect condition. No cracks or wear. The suspension is a 2 1/2in Superlift matched with 33x12.50 BF Goodrich All Terrain Radials mounted on Eagle 15x 8 rims including a matching spare. To cover the wheels, the Jeep is fitted with extended Best Top fender flares. The top is a newer Best Top and has NO cracks or tears. Everything is in working order except the KC driving lights are not hooked up and like almost all CJ's, the fuel gauge does not work. This Jeep was entered in the 2010 Jeep Expo in York Pa and placed 3rd in the CJ7 modified class. I will include the trophy and placard with sale. It is ready to drive anywhere and is very stable and quiet (for a Jeep) even at highway speeds. Also, there is NO rust anywhere body, floor or frame. The Jeep is only out in nice weather and not used off-road .. I do have the Jeep listed locally in classified ads so Im going to reserve he right to end the auction at any time.
