FOR SALE 1946 WILLYS JEEP CJ 2A 4 x 4 3 Speed Civilian Willys Jeep. The Jeep has been 90% restored. The L-Head Motor was completely rebuilt. RUNS GREAT!!!!! The Body was taken off the frame. The frame was wired brushed, degreased, primed and painted- as was the body, fenders and grill. There is a small amout of rust found in the tool box under the passenger seat and window frame- right lower corner. Nothing major!! Transfer and Transmission was inspected and found to be in good working order as was front and rear-ends/gears. New clutch and throw out bearing was installed. The Frame to Body Cushions were replaced; Tail Lights replaced. The Body was primed, sanded and painted “Nutmeg” color-semi- gloss. There is some roughness in the body on the rear passenger side spare tire mount. I was going to correct the roughness left by the previous owner, but just ran out of time. All that remains to be done is: Brakes, the Head Lights, Tail Lights and Turn Signals connected, Seats re-covered and a Speed-O-Meter. I replaced the "F" Head motor with an orginal "L" Head Motor. Some "Bone Head", the previous owner, had cut a hole in the hood for the carb to fit the "F" Head Motor. I am including in the Auction an additional Hood with the "Willys" Logo. The Photos show the Willys during it's restoration and the way it is TODAY. Jeep has CLEAR TITLE, Orginal ID Plates and NO after market parts. The tires are in very good condition.
