Previous owner replaced brakes 1 year ago and dropped the front end. this car comes with a strong 1600 cc engine, video in yoiutube shows an 1835cc. it was sold and replaced for this 1600c Windshield frame cut 3" and new glass installed. The original convertible top frame still in place and can be used with the new custom windshield frame. Vinyl top not included. A new custom bikini top was professionally made and installed for a perfect fit and a slick look. Engine lid was cut where the license plate goes with new metal mesh added for better ventilation and looks! A 1" metal bar was placed across rear fenders to serve as a step to access the back without opening doors. New aluminum gas tank with shut-off valve mounted behind rear seat. New rear seat made of plywood, foam and vinyl. two porche 914 seats installed in the front (only damage is a one inch tear on headrest of driver's seat). These seats are TEMPORARILY secured in place awaiting the new owner's leg length for final adjustments prior to permanent installation. Seat tracts in good working condition. Two original front window frames included with sale. Body has rust in a few places; most notably...the front hood on passenger's side, under spare tire (fiberglass reinforced) and under front wheel wells. The floor boards were patched with metal and fiberglass in the corners by the previous owner. The paint is also peeling and fading in various areas. For these reasons, this vehicle is considered a "Rat Rod" and being sold AS IS. This is NOT a rust-free vehicle. To be street legal, the turn signal switch needs to be replaced. Front and rear turn signal housings are new. Fog lights and wench are new as well. Wench is currently installed on front bumper and secured to the front wall of the trunk for esthetic purposes and will need to be permanently secured by new owner for heavy pulling. Custom front bumper made from older rear bumper. The bumper now has metal custom sides with reflectors. Again, this custom work is primarily for looks and style. New owner will need to check their own local DMV regulations for street worthiness. Vehicle is selling AS IS. Buyer is responsible for verifying local DMV regulations for road worthiness.
