You are bidding on a 1972 Honda SL 350 Motorcycle. It is Panther Gold in color.I tried to take pictures of all the issues with this bike. I am being very honest with the good and the bad. I will start with the bad: Side covers are cracked,very repairable all tabs are in place. The seat has an issue as you can see in the picture (left hand side by the tank),nothing serious could be repaired. It has no rips, foam is excellent,& in good condition. Front fender has scratches as seen in picture.Left hand muffler is dented but no rust or holes.The fork seals & dust covers need to be replaced, as you can see in the picture they are included. The trip meter button is missing.Thats about all for the bad now the good: First of all, the motor & frame numbers match,the left muffler is almost perfect, no rust or holes in either muffler. Had the inside of tank lined from local radiator shop, cost me $ 100.00. Awesome job! All new parts are NOS. All new clutch cable,front brake switch, throttle cable, tank rubber, kick stand rubber on muffler,brake & clutch levers,tank lock switch,petcock,carbs were rebuilt with new carb kits by local Honda shop.They also adjusted timing chain & valves.OEM gas lines,fuel filters,fresh oil, plugs,sprockets front & back,new DID heavy duty chain. All the electrical works as it should, even the little dimmer switch works. I purchaced this bike about 7 years ago from a Gentleman,who was selling it for his friend. I never got to talk to the owner, I usually like to find out as much history on a bike as I can, but he could not tell me much. I believe the milege to be correct by the looks of the original tires.I have had several SL's thru the years, I have never had one that runs as strong as this one. The transmission is very tight & shifts like a new one. This motor runs perfect, & I mean perfect, no strange noises. It sounds like a new motor.Good clutch, good brakes, good battery.It does not smoke or drink. It does not leak ANY fluids.This bike is ORIGINAL. The only painting I did was on the mufflers, I did them a couple years ago.No other touch up. All the battle wounds are still visable. All chrome is really nice. I really don't want to part with this ole girl, but like many folks hard times have forced me too.
