SHIPPING- Anyone who needs this car shipped, If the "Buy it Now" option is used I will split the shipping cost 50%-50% with you.--- This offer is good for buyers in the lower 48 US states, anyone else contact for adjustment. This is a Steel tub Roadster, The body was orriginally a Dodge Touring car ( possibly 1910 to 1920). Everything on the body is steel including the box on the back, The firewall is 1/8 inch Aluminum. The windshield frame and supports are very rare Dodge and are orriginal to the body. The motor and trans are 351 Ford from a 1974 Thunderbird. The motor is in Excellent condition, No noise, rattles, smoke, or blowby. Brand new tires, Fronts are 195-60-15" and the rear are 295-50-15", The wheels are Chrome smoothies with Baby moons, They are NOT new but are in very nice shape as shown in the pics. Dropped solid front axle and Ford 9" rearend. Front brakes are Ford disc and the rears are Ford Drum. Brakes are very well equalized front to rear. All the guages except the speedometer work great, Not sure why the speedo is not hooked up. This car has a very nice quiet sound, it's not silent but it's very reasonable as far as noise. Motor has a mild cam that lopes at idle. This car has never been titled, There is no title for it. There are several options for registering it depending on your local state. Some choices include, applying for a builders title, getting an orriginal Ford or Dodge title for it. I did not build this car, I have another one and a friend has been saying forever that he wanted one, I found this car, I bought it for him to buy from me, He got his income tax and blew it all. Now he wants me to finance the car to him. So here it is on Ebay. Please feel free to call (479-462-1270) about any questions you may have I will be happy to explain anything I can about the car. This car is NOT for sale locally, I will be telling everyone that it's listed on Ebay and if they want to bid they should look it up. CAR WILL GO TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER, OR, THE BUY IT NOW OPTION Feel certain that your bid counts, It will NOT be pulled early, ONLY THE BUY IT NOW OPTION WILL END THIS LISTING EARLY This car has no guarantee or warranty, The only thing that I stand behind on this car is what I have listed here on Ebay. ASK QUESTIONS-----COME AND CHECK IT OUT FOR YOURSELF-------HAVE AN EXPERT CHECK IT OUT-------ASK QUESTIONS-------ASK QUESTIONS---------- Please if your not sure, ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT INSURANCE- These cars are CHEAP to insure especially if you have a vehicle that has full coverage. With another car you can realistically expect to pay under $300 a year for full coverage with an agreed value.///////// I have a 2010 Chevy 1500 X-cab, My other T is insure through Hagerty with an agreed value of $15,000 for $278 a YEAR. SHIPPING- You can expect to ship this car for around $1,200 for long distances enclosed trailer, Less for open or shorter distance. On Mar-14-11 at 09:15:12 PDT, seller added the following information: This car had a BUY IT NOW option, I forgot that ebay removes those once the item gets a bid and meets reserve. I spoke with Ebay rep. He informed me that it cannot be added back, He suggested that if someone makes and offer to purchase the car and I accept that I should simply end the auction early. I did not want to do it like that but I certainly will if I get my money back, The BIN was $7800, Anyone who wants to offer $7500, I will end the auction once I recieve payment. I will still split the shipping cost with you. For shipping in the 48 US states. Enclosed or open, your choice. On Mar-16-11 at 09:52:05 PDT, seller added the following information: Car has a sweet sounding original AAHOOOGA horn on it. I think they're actually called Claxon or Sparton.
