Ford claims to be king of the hill and Dr. Mopar responds with an over the top SRT10 Viper truck that kicks the wind out of the Lightning and every other hot rod truck on the face of the planet ALL IS WONDERFUL IN THE LAND OF MOPAR...Until somebody points out that OLD GUYS RULE and we do not want to have to shift and fool around with all of that stuff we just want to go fast and be Very Cool while we do it Soooo DR MOPAR hears the screams of those OLD FARTS .......ya know.....the ones with a few extra greenbacks sitting around..... and then says Prestochango...... now you have what you have always wished for........An SRT 10 VIPER MOTORED quad cab, 488 cu in. 500 horsepower.......more fun than you can legally stand truck to go to Home depot in........BUT WAIT THERES MORE........the story is not over yet!!!! One of those OLD GUYS with a bunch of greenbacks says........ that is very cool but it was not quite fast enough..So.. He pulls out about 12 Large ......for all of you youngsters that is $12000.00 dollars......... gives it up to the car gods and prays for MORE HORSEPOWER..........The car gods send in DR PAXTON to work his miracles and lo and behold 100 more horse power appear to rescue the OLD GUYS from their boring short trips to Home Depot........Now the normally 15 minute trips to the Depot turn into hours of wonderful, heart pounding, adrenalin pumping, energizing excursions. Not to mention cruising around looking for young whippersnappers that drive Hondas and think they are fast. Now ya gotta understand that we were just a bit curious about how many ponies were riding under the hood so we took a trip down to the local DYNO shop. The results were impressive and are pictured ABOVE........these are real numbers to the REAR WHEELS.......where all the work is done!!!! Flywheel numbers that the manufactures quote are COOL but can typically be 20 percent higher than what is actually going on where rubber meets pavement!!
