The 5 window pickup truck was purchased by Walter Plummer on Feb 20, 1950 at Reading, PA, (all sales documents available) and stayed in the family until 2005 when I purchased it. The truck was in original, unaltered condition, 52593 gentle miles in it and was always garaged and pampered. After that the truck went trough a frame off restoration. The original 216 engine, transmission, bench seat, all chromes and bed planks were left untouched due to their excellent condition. All work had been done to keep the truck authentic with no expense and labor spared. The rear axle ratio was changed to 3.55:1 along with the speedo ratio adapter to easily cruse at 65mph on the highway. The truck has an original working tube radio, everything is working and functioning. The forest green paint shows some flaws. I drove it about 3k miles since restoration. The truck comes with original 1950 Operator's manual and Chevrolet truck shop manual for 1948-1951 models. The Buyer is responsible for paying and arrange a shipping or pick the truck up. Because NY state doesn't issues Title for older motor vehicles, the truck comes with a signed registration /NY state uses instead of title/ and a Bill of Sale.
