1979 Honda CB

I've owned this several years. Last summer I rode it 3 times...It's time to pass it on to someone who will ride it. I never rode it much so I didn't really put any money into it. This was the "Harley Killer" from the 70's. 10th anniversary model. Chain has less than 500 miles on it, as does rear sprocket. All lights work fine. I had the seat recovered about 2 years ago and it looks like a new one. Needs a rear tire. Battery is 2 years old. Paint on tank is spider cracked/starting to fade and 10th anniversary decal is faded. Rust on headers and spotty rust on chrome. Bike is 30+ years old and shows it's age. Speedometer does not work (I used the tach) nor does the odometer. Could be cable? Don't know how many miles are actually on it. There is a warning light that is constantly on that is covered with tape. It's always been on since I bought it, I just ignore it. Cylinder 1 misses sometimes and there is a "rattle" in the motor sometimes - I don't know what it is nor does my dad who has been around bikes for 60+ years. Did not take it to a shop since I don't ride it that much. Got me to and from where I was going so I didn't worry about it. Smokes a little when idling sometimes, not always. Doesn't start right up after sitting around being ignored for more than a couple of days, otherwise it starts just fine. Longest trip I took it on was to Ohio (about 200 miles each way) twice with no problems with the wife in tow. Pulled both of us just fine. Once again, bike is 30+ years old so I am selling AS IS, no return on it. WILL NOT SHIP - Buyer to pick up at my place ONLY. No refund $100 deposit w/i 2 days of auction end, remainder in CASH at time of pickup. However, if the bike doesn't start and can't be ridden when you come to pick it up, I will not hold you to the auction and will refund your deposit. eMail me with any questions, I'm sure I'm missing info here.
