1971 Honda

Hi, up for auction is 1971 Honda sl70ko serial # SL70-1011804.. Take a close look at the pictures, and feel free to ask questions. Local pick up is preferred, but I will aid anyway I can if buyer would like it shipped. Buyer is responsible for making all shipping arrangements, and for all shipping expenses. For sale in the continental U.S only. Payment by paypal is preferred but cash is King. Bike was very clean when I acquired it but the paint and and seat were in need of attention. Most all the parts on the bike are original which shows it was well kept and never sat outside in the elements in it's 40 year life. The tank has been stripped and the inside coated at a local radiator shop. I had it professionally painted candy apple red (in my opinion how many light ruby red sl70's do we need out there) over a gold base which really pops in the sun. Replaced the seat cover and tires (Cheng Shin), the rest has been either painted or polished to the best of my ability ( I am not a professional restorer, just a guy who likes to work on the bikes that were around when I was a kid I have a very small garage) . I added the speedo, but it does not work. I made the tank stickers out of 3M reflective sheeting, the side cover stickers were made to look more like the bigger SL's. It has an after market carb on it right now but the original carb comes with the bike but will probably need a rebuild. The motor ran fine with no smoke and shifted through the gears like it should, so I just cleaned it up the best I could. Bike has been sitting in storage for the past couple of years and is somewhat dusty which may show up in the pictures, comes with bill of sale.. Overall it is a very nice example of KO SL70.
