Vehicle Detail
I *have to* sell all of this. Someone please give all of my Celica stuff a good home. PLEASE READ ALL INFORMATION PLEASE CLICK ON ALL LINKS AND REVIEW ALL PICTURES Nothing would make me happier than to finish putting this car back on it's toes, but right now I just don't have the time. I'm hoping to find someone that can appreciate all of the old school Toyota parts (that you just can't find anymore) and countless labor hours that have went into this Celica. It's a shadow of what it once was, but all of the good pieces are still there.... For sale is my dark blue 1984 Celica GTS Coupe rolling chassis AND the unassembled motor AND all parts that I have collected for 20 years. The dual Weber carbureted, high performance engine is out, bagged, and on a stand (stand not included in this sale). The interior is mint for this era. Blue cloth GTS seats, rare factory blue leather wrapped steering wheel, padded Supra dash, short shifter with leather Momo knob and factory AM/FM/CD Toyota in-the-dash 3 disc changer. Sony Xplode 6 1/2" component speakers in the doors and rear quarters. 1000W 5channel amp, single 10" Xplod sub with Qlogic box and stiffening capacitor in the trunk. A lightly tinted windshield has preserved the interior beautifully. The passenger door window needs to be re-tinted, and the driver's exterior door handle needs to be re-anchored. EFI assembly was removed but the wiring harness remains, discreetly tucked in the back corner of the engine bay. A/C system plumbed and still intact. The car is setup for a high performance 20R/22R, dual Weber 45mm carbureted engine. Holley electric fuel pump, and pressure regulator with gauge. Ceramic coated Doug Thorley 4-2-1 headers, 2 1/4" exhaust, Dynomax muffler and cat delete. An electrically tempurature controlled cooling fan is on the radiator. Transmission is a stock W58 5 speed with a short throw shifter. A complete Supra rear IRS sub-frame has been added, with a 3.73 posi. The car has incredible 4 wheel disc brakes. Eibach springs are in, and front and rear Koni sway bars along with a Custco strut tower bar are included, but not installed. Wheels are the factory aluminum 14x7s, painted black inserts and polished faces. They look really nice. 225/60/14 Sumitomos at all corners. 1988 MR2 decklid spoiler with brake lite added. 1985 rear bumper core support added with 2500lb trailer hitch. It's very hidden. All original chrome emblems removed. Rare, anniversary edition Toyota dragon emblems on the fenders. Factory grey Celica emblem/logo on the back decklid face. TRD decal on spoiler brake lite. Car has been sitting and the exterior needs redone. Clearcoat is failing in spots, and the driver's fender and door need body work (a Sebring backed into it). ALL work was done to achieve a custom but factory look. Details on the ready-to-be-assembled engine parts: - '83 22RE block - 10.5:1 & .20 over, domed and notched Wiseco pistons - 20R full custom, race prepped head Please see pics - ARP head studs - 292 Schneider cam - 22R Cannon intake - twin Weber 45mm DCOE's - Oval K&N's w/ tall velocity stacks (over $3000 originally invested in the cylinder head assembly ALONE) - new dual timing chain assembly & new dual LC Engineering adjustable cam gear - over-sized stainless steel valves - custom PCV system - Mallory Unilite distributor - Mallory Promaster coil - Mallory wires - TRD 9lb. flywheel - Centerforce Dual Friction clutch - I even polished ALL of the engine's exterior bolts to a high shine. It's a nice touch to a detailed engine! $2400 for EVERYTHING I have. You will need at least a pickup truck for the parts and a flatbed trailer for the car, to take it all in one load. 9am to 8pm EST calls please. 239-565-1356 John Older, ORIGINAL car pics and the high performance 20R porting pics here... http://www.supermotors.net/registry/8472 Here's the CURRECT 71 pics of the car, engine components and hundreds of included extra parts. http://s179.photobucket.com/albums/w285/JohnDeStef/online%20ads/84%20Celica%20engine%20and%20parts/ ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS ABOUT THE CAR.... Sorry everyone, I cannot part out the car. Yes some stuff is disassembled, but I just do not have the time to part it out. The last Toyota tech that assembled the engine, left out a galley plug on the back of the block............ and consequently took out the following parts.... All of these have been replaced... crank and cam bearings, cam caps, the double row chain assembly and gear, oil pump, timing cover, rockers, and camshaft. Every engine component has been professionally inspected, freshened, and/or replaced with new or top quality used. The short block is gone through and assembled. The ARP studs have not been installed, they're new in the box. Slight modification will have to be done to the clutch slave or TO bearing as the TRD flywheel is thinner than stock. There was too much play in the clutch pedal. AV gas was the last fuel to flow through the carbs, before they were choked and run out of fuel. The car will need to travel on a flat bed as the rear IRS needs torqued down and aligned. PICS ARE FROM THE CAR SHOW DAYS:
