Vehicle Detail
This has been my faithful mail car for over a year. 273000 miles. She uses fluids, (oil, trans fluid, power steering fluid and coolant) nothing major, I check everything about once a week. I paid 500 for her. The muffler, tailpipe and chrome tip are new. Just did the brakes all the way around and I have an extra set of rotors for the front. Tune up was just done, new plugs, wires, cap, rotor and ignition module. Lights, wipers, cruise all work. windows work. The left rear side glass is bad, and there is a crack in the windshield. Sometimes the wipers stop, but switch them to high and they go. In the long term, I would replace the turn signal stalk there must be a short in there somewhere. The tires are decent, I just buy used ones when I can find the size. I have a full size spare and an extra tire that will go with her. The guy that I bought her from told me like this. She could die tomorrow, but she is running fine today. Will she drive to California? Yeah if you check all the fluids as you go. She cruises fine at normal freeway speed. Will she handle 90 mph the whole way? I don't think so. No reserve, come and get her. If you were to repair the front end you will need the header panel, the fender and inner fender. There was damage to the 4 wheel drive cable in that there is a kink in the cable. The system still works, here's the trick put her in neutral hit the button on the dash, shift to park, open hood squeeze the diaphram to help the vacuum engage. Then off you go. If you ever need to use the whole back seat the table is hinged and will fold up out of the way. It's cool.
