PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE YOU BID ::::::: Up for auction is my 1959 2 Door Chevy Brookwood Station Wagon. The 2 Doors are rare & are like the nomads of the 59,s. I bought this car here on ebay several years ago from a guy who had stripped it for parts for his 59 camino & the only thing left was the shell. I bought the shell to cut it up & make a hot rod out of it until I found out how rare they are. There are a lot of 4 door 59 wagons out there but there are not that many 2 door 59 wagons. Over the years I wound up piece by piece putting the car back together & getting it runing. I have a lot of other more important projects, so this was always on the back burner & didnt get the attention & work that it needed. It has an 8 cyl 350 engine with a 4 barrel carbureator, aluminum intake, power steering, chrome water outlet, eletronic ignition, 400 automatic transmission, brand new complete front to rear exhaust system, corvette 15 inch aluminum rims with P215/75R15 tires, new brakes & master cylinder, new universal joints, front bench seat, rear fold down seat. The car runs & drives good. All of the signal lights, headlights & tailight work properly. The original radio is still in the car but when you turn it on, all you hear is a bounce from the speaker. I think that the speaker is bad & needs to be replaced but never got around to it. The gas tank has a leak in it & you can only put less than 1/2 tank of gas in it at a time without leaking. Something else that i never got around to. I have a clean NYS transferable registration in my name for the car. In NYS on pre 1975 vehicles, they do not use titles but registrations instead. It does need some finishing. It needs the headliner & the front bench seat needs to be reupholstered. All the door & rear hatch glasses roll up & down but the drivers side front door glass is cracked as well as a crack on the front windshield on the passengers side as you can see from the pictures. It also needs floor pans in the front & rear floor sections. I had originally painted the car red & it came out nice & i was given some gray paint & decieded to make it two tone but the gray paint was not that good & bubbled up & needs to be removed. I started trying to remove the gray as you can see from some of the pics. It is a really nice car but i dont have to time that it deserves to devote to it due to work, time,space, money & so many other projects. remember, the car was a total shell with nothing when i got it. You are more than welcome to come by & bring your mechanic to look over the car if you are near the nyc bronx area. I will not ship the car but will assist with loading. I might be able to drive the car to you for a fee if you are close by in the NYC tri state area but the vehicle & fees must be paid in full before the vehicle leaves my yard. I read the book computers for dummies & couldnt figure out the book but was still able to pay for things online & set up a paypal account, so you can do it also. Over the years from a empty shell to this with time, labor, parts & money i figiure that i put about 9000 into the car but i am not looking for that. If i get more than half back i will be happy. I will entertain offers but no low ballers. This is a rare classic car that could be a great car with some time & work.
