this continental was orginaly an irain embase car. it was sold to a private owner in 1981 and shipped to dallis tx.it was restored in1981 to 83.it remained in tx. untill i bought it in 2003.it was used in the return of our hostages from iran in1981. the car has a plack stating so.the car runs grate. all the hydralics work[windows,top] it has its orginal V 12. it does not smoke.i believe it was rebuilt in 1981 prox.the tires are 4in. wide whites with lots of rubber.the paint is the orginal color 1981 prox. the top is good same for seats.i had new carpets installed.i installed a completely rebuilt radio this year.the chrome is very good for 1981.its a good driver.i take to car shows when my wife are in arizona for the winter. it has arizona plates.this car is ready to be enjoyed.1 installed a 8 volt alternator with a 8 volt battery.the system works perfect.the orginal alternator goes with the car.i also had a new tanue cover made when the top is down.my phone no. is 760 665 1260 or cell no. 253 686 5690.
