2001 Toyota Celica GT 2001 Toyota Celica GT Low Miles - Classic Car - Nicely Equipped - Former Show car This car has the potential to be truly awesome. Fix the peeling clear coat and minor body defects in various places, install the side skirts and a paint job would just about turn this back into a show car . The car has only 95k mikes on it, a new clutch, regular oil changes, less than 1 year on all maintenance items like brakes, tires, wipers, battery, air filter, etc. It does not appear to have ever been in a major wreck, which is also what CarFax indicates. Bumpers both front and rear are fiberglass, and starting to show signs of wear. A perfectionist would replace the bumpers while installing the side skirts and then paint the whole car. But the car is entirely drivable "as is". The glass is in great shape all the way around, and very deeply tinted on the rear. Power windows. Power Sun Roof. New wipers all the way around. A/C works great. Blows nice and cold. Never had a problem even here in the Florida summertime. Gets 25 MPG under average driving conditions, and ranges from 20 to 30 depending on the driver and the conditions. The headlights are hi-intensity, and the fog lights work. Everything electrical works with one notable exception: the cruise control seems to be disconnected. Have never really tried to fix it. There are no rear seat belts, as the rear is mostly audio equipment. It steers straight, stops nicely, doesn't rattle, and it has an interesting exhaust note from the massive exhaust system. The chrome wheels are in good shape, one is missing a center cap. They have a set of spline locks (key included). The suspension has been modifed to lower the vehicle several inches. It appears to have been done by a professional. It will scrape if you are not careful. The interior of the car has been customized in many ways. It is quite shiny, and includes dashboard, seat, floor covering and other treatments. The vehicle is located in Palmetto Florida, where it may be seen. Very Low Very Yellow Awesome Sunroof Tires have about 10k on them. Plenty of tread left. Trunk Full of Subwoofers (spare and jack are in there, too.) The hydraulic lifts are getting old. The big spoiler is just too much for them. It needs the side skirts to be installed. They were gone when we bought the car. There is a pair included that have not been installed. The standard spoiler is also available if you would like it. It is already yellow There are some dings in the seams between the bumpers and the fenders. There are areas of peeling clear coat, mostly on the right side. Here are the side skirts that need to be installed. Then paint the whole car for best results.
