I have a 1966 Ford Fairlane wagon with a 289 and C-4 Auto trans. The car has factory a/c ( not cold ) but compressor kicks on. The car has power steering and manual brakes. The car runs and drives fine with fresh tune up , oil change and all new brakes and lines. I had the gas tank boiled out and lined. The car show 40k miles and appears to be original. The wagon is originally form Arrow Ford in Abilene Texas where it spent most of it's life. The car was stored under a carport and the fornt fenders and hood have the paint baked off and the interior is very brittle form the west Texas sun. The paint appears to be original with the exception of the right rear quarter panel looks to have been painted at a later time. There are no large dents or hail damage just fading and the tailgate has rusted. The interior is beginning to tear because it is so brittle the floors are good except the drivers pan is rusted under the gas pedal. All the glass is good and operates even in the tailgate like a 40k mile car would. This car can be used as is or could be restored to to the next level .
