This 2008 ZENN is a totally electric NEV. It just got a full warranty check and has brand new batteries!!! If you are environmentally minded, sick of gas prices or just want a fun urban car, this is for you!! The car is a French Microcar that goes on all the roads in France but has gas or diesel engines in them. A Canadian company, ZENN, imports those cars with no drivetrain and puts in their patented electric drivetrain system. ZENN stands for Zero Emission No Noise. It has a power folding sunroof that opens up the whole top of the car, power windows, tinted windows, power remote doorlocks, air conditioning, rear window wiper w/ defog, regenerative braking and an amazing 6 speaker stereo system with subwoofers. It has a hatchback that allows for storage of quite a bit in the back. More than enough room for a large trip to the grocery store. This little urban car is fun! It has an advertised range of 25-30 miles per charge. It gets 80% of a recharge in 4 hrs and 100% in 10-12 hrs. And it plugs into a normal 110 V wall plug! I used to tell people that I come home and plug in my car and my phone so that they are readyfor the next day. It is currently limited to 35 MPH as a top speed as set by the onboard controller. So, it is made to be a city/community car. You won't be taking this on the Turnpike!!! But, I would drive it everyday back and forth to work (round trip 15 miles) on U.S. 1 with no problems. I have not spent any money on gas or oil changes for more than a year! You have to think of that saving adding up with this little car. Great for someone who lives in a small community, island, downtown, as a second car or a college student who needs to save money! There is an existing auto loan on this car that must be taken care of before transfer of title can be official.
