This car is un-drivable in its present condition. It was experiencing high vibration during acceleration and the mechanic discovered fractures in subframe supports for the rear suspension. This makes car un-drivable due to safety concerns in the rear axle and suspension. This repair cost is quite expensive, so I have decided to sell the car for parts or to someone who can make the repairs. I am selling the total car, not individual parts. The car has a solid engine, transmission and drivetrain, and runs very smooth. The body is in good condition with only a few nicks and dings. The interior is black leather and is in good condition. All subsystems (AC, PW, PL, Computer, Fuel Sys, Exhaust ...etc.) are in good condition and the car recently had the radiator, cooling hoses and drive belts replaced. The brakes are in good condition and the tires and wheels were recently upgraded to 18" 225/45ZR17. The Kelly Blue Book for this car in fair condition is ~ $5,500. I am listing this car well below this value due to the problem in the subframe (cracking). This would be a great car for someone who needs major parts for a BMW E46 or has the time and space to make the repairs. The engine alone sells for approx. $1,900 in salvage yards. Good look bidding.
