The engine is this vehicle is in good working order. The engine fires right up when you start it without any hesitation. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly into all gears and reverse. This vehicle comes with two working keys and two working fobs. The key are attached to the fobs, they just flip out when you want to start the vehicle. The key loop on the bottom of the fobs are both broken.
The tires on this ML320 are all matching (Continental – 4X4 Contact), with a tire size of 255/60R17. All of the tires look to be in good shape and from taking a tread depth of the tires they are almost all evenly worn. The tread depth gauge of all four tires is as follows:
Right Front: 7/32
Left Front: 6/32
Right Rear: 7/32
Left Rear: 6/32
The condition of the interior is as follows. The interior is clean very little wear on the inside. The driver floor has a few stains from dirt in two spots. The trunk side panels have scratches on them from cargo being taken in and out of the vehicle. The two cargo pockets behind the front seats are starting to sag from age and being used. On the tail gate the emergency triangle is missing from the vehicle. The first aid kit is still in the vehicle. The headliner in the trunk on the left side has some stains on the ceiling. This can all be seen in the pictures that we have provided.
The condition of the exterior is as follows. The left side of the front bumper has scratches on it. The left quarter panel has a small paint chip with a dent in it. The rear bumper has scratches across the entire bumper. Both the rear pillars are starting to fade. The right front passenger door molding has chips in it. The right fender and the right side of the front bumper have some small scratches in it. Both of the head lights are a little foggy. The front bumper in the middle has a long scratch in it. There is some light road rash on the hood.
We performed a safety check in our Service Department and they found the following. The front brake pads are at 5mm and the rear brake pads are at 9mm. The rotors look to be in good shape. All of the wiper blades need to be replaced. There is a stone chip in the windshield, it is not cracked but could start to crack sometime in the future. This vehicle needs a four wheel alignment performed. The BAS ESP light is on in the instrument cluster. We don’t know why it is on. When the vehicle was traded in, there was a noise coming from the drive shaft and the propeller shaft intermediate bearing was replaced. The vehicle is quiet now. The right head light bulb was replaced. The oil and filter was changed along with chassis lubrication.
