Up for sale is a 1955 Ford Thunderbird with a 351W V8 engine. The engine was rebuilt in 2007 for $3500.00 and has not been driven much since. It is mated to a C4 Automatic Transmission. This car needs body work, but runs and drives well. The 351W is strong and moves the car quickly. The frame on this car is excellent. My plan was to add the Mustang 2 front suspension and the Ford 9 inch rear to create a vintage looking restomod. This car comes with what you seen in the photos as well as a box of odds and ends in varying condition. It also comes with a new passenger side full Rear Quarter (the side that is damaged), new Front Floor Pans and both Inner and Outer Rockers and a front bushing kit for the suspension. I have 3 Tops (not shown in the photos)...I have the original Soft Top, a 1955 Hardtop and a 1956 Hardtop with the porthole. All 3 tops are in good condition, but need to be restored. On Feb-26-11 at 23:13:41 PST, seller added the following information: I have had several emails regarding the purchase of the 3 Tops separately.  I will give all the interested parties' info to the new owner and they can deal with one another directly.  From the minimal research I have done....each hard top is worth app. $1200.00 and the soft top is worth app. $2,500.00 unrestored. Also, the rear quarter panel is worth app. $750 to $1000.  Keep in mind that the 3 tops and the quarter panel are worth at least $5000.00 together, and this does not even include the value of the car itself.  Good Luck!
