Vehicle Detail
REDUCED PRICE! Up for auction we have a rare original California 1969 early first year CT70 3 speed auto. I.D. plate is a "SILVER TAG" so no production date. 2900 original miles. Bars are fairly straight, tires are bad, fenders are nice, seat is useable with 2 rips. Runs okay, shifts through the gears, brakes are fine. I have not done any work to this bike. I got it started and it ran fine, and shifted through the gears okay, but just know that it's going to need a good overhaul to get it back to par. It needs a wiring harness (it's being by-passed using a toggle switch for the ignition) battery and box etc. This is a silver tag bike that would make a great resto for the collector, or a fun rider as most of it is there. Go to www.chpusa.net for all your parts. Lyle will set you up with the right parts at the right price. I bought this bike from the original owner to do a complete resto on it, but I have WAY too many projects right now. PLUS... like I mention in all of my auctions, my wife will make me move into the garage permanently if I don't step it back a bit. Anyway, this is a nice California low-mile original bike and a perfect candidate for a restoration project. I can send anyone a flip video of it running on request. Bluebook has these bikes valued at over 3K in A-1 shape and the values are going up up up. I can also arrange to have the engine and tranny rebuilt by a professional Honda mechanic, that does all of my engines, if you like for about 5-6 hundred bucks. Blasted, painted, pistons, timing chain, oil, gaskets etc. That is advisable, and reasonable unless you can do it yourself. I can take the bike apart and make it easier to ship, as long as you are prepared to put it back together. Spring is just around the corner!!!! Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. RE-LISTED DUE TO FLAKE BUYER. REDUCED PRICE! SHIPPING IS UP TO THE BUYER. TRY U-SHIP OR FORWARD AIR. I HAVE SHIPPED MANY OF THESE BIKES WITH GOOD RESULTS. I WILL DELIVER TO THE TERMINAL AND PROVIDE TIE-DOWNS AND A LOCK FOR THEIR CRATE. $100 CRATE FEE IF YOU NEED IT CRATED. BILL OF SALE PROVIDED. CASH OR PAYPAL ONLY. SORRY....NO OVERSEAS BUYERS, NORTH AMERICA ONLY. PLEASE, TO ALL OF YOU UNSCRUPULOUS SCAMMERS: NO OFFERS USING MONOPOLY MONEY OR FRAUDULENT CHECKS.....I'VE HEARD IT ALL. DON'T BOTHER. THANKS.
