Vehicle Detail
I have up for sale my 1982 cx500 Turbo. I have owned this bike since October 21st 1994. I am the second owner. Having only 4193 miles, this is an extremely low mileage bike. I have not ridden it since 1995. When I stored it I drained the gas and oil from the bike. I let it run until it ran out of gas. Hope this drained the fuel pump and left the injectors dry. I have not started or ridden since this time. When parked it ran perfectly. I believe that if you put a battery in it and gassed it up it would go. I do not know this for sure. It will surely need some attention to bring it to life. It has the original tires on it that have like new tread, but they are old and would not be safe. This bike was stored in my company warehouse the whole time it was not ridden. Always heated and cooled storage. Consequently this machine is near perfect. It has never been down or abused. Everything on the bike is as new. No dents. No scrapes or scratches. I pulled this bike out from under the cover and wiped it down with a damp cloth. That is it. No armor all to make it look sharp. This is how nice this bike is. All graphics are bright. No fading in the gauges. Just a gorgeous machine. Hard to find one like this. I am now retired in Arizona. Health factors will never let me enjoy this bike again. I am afraid if it spends too many summers down here in the heat it will start to deteriorate. That is why I am selling. A couple of disclosure items:There is one very small rub mark in the gray paint on the edge of the fairing. It is very small, but a good shop should be able to easily fix. It is not a chip. It is rubbed through. One of the pictures shows it. The brake master cylinder leaked onto the brake handle cover and wrinkled the paint on it. Easily replaced or painted. It did not leak onto anything else. The brake master cover is chrome. It did not come that way. The previous owner changed this. I purchased a new one when I got the bike. It will be included. Still in factory Honda packaging. From the pictures you will see I have the two original keys, factory owners manual, warranty book, tool kit, pressure gauge, sales brochure and a factory service manual. I have a clear Colorado title. I hope this bike goes to someone that loves these bikes like I do. I will answer any questions honestly and as quickly as I can.
