This truck is perfect for either the weekend dirt trail warrior or the show off street cruiser. I bought this truck on February 2005 with only 76000 miles and now six year later it only have 83000. I have the original books that came with the truck. WHERE CAN YOU FIND AN EXCURSION LIKE THIS AT THIS PRICE??? The Pros: Just read al of the above. The Cons: Personally I cannot think of one. The details: The wheels’ Chrome is hidden under a layer of oil and dirt but with a good cleaner I am sure the new owner will be able to make it shine again. The front and back driver side power locks have to be push/pull by hand, when the power lock button is push you can see the locks trying to go up/down but nothing happens. The power mirror passenger side works but do not go in, it may be just a fuse because it was working before. Alarm siren some times gets crazy. I do not have the combination for the keyless entry, but I was told that if you go to any Ford dealer and provide VIN and proof or ownership they will be able to tell you the combination. Back pull up door closes but do not lock. The Bad: Some times when braking the truck shakes and with it does, some times it shakes a lot and some times a little. My mechanic says its the brake pads that need to be change and may be it will be needed to change the disks also. Maybe some $300.00 for brake pads and disks all new plus work. Please remember that although this is a low mileage well taking care of truck at the end is still a used truck. If you are looking for mind condition this may not be the truck you are looking for. As you can see, I tried to described my truck as best as possible, not only all the goodies and extras but the details and issues as well. If you need more information just let me know.
