Vehicle Detail

OK first and foremost, this is a DRIVER it is not a 100 thousand dollar show car that you are gonna get for a song. Car Guys understand that. Nothing is worse than having a noncar guy whine because a car has been driven all over the US without a nose bra or outside a trailer and the paint has been gaaaaaaaasp chipped here and there. My cars are never towed unless they are broken and only long enough for me to fix them. Now let's get down to this car. Built in 2002 by Total Performance Inc, the car was first shown and then sold. During the show period it took Goodguys Del Mar as best T with a flat motor. That's a big deal to some folks so I left the decal on the rear but took the rest off...it's not a big deal to me. The flat motor is @ 1951 and since it's build for this car has 10,600 miles on it. I have put most of them on it myself and have had it thru the Mojave (between Las Vegas and Pomona) several times in the summer as well as to Bakersfield and back in October. I've driven it in parades in Vegas and it has performed just fine. It runs two Strombergs (97s) with some Bo Huff (RIP) skulls he was casting a few years back. A pressure regulator makes them behave pretty well. It has an external spin on oil filter, electric fuel pump, front disc brakes with rear drums. C-4 Trans with a Lokar shifter. Bench seat with a cover. Tank is in the rear in the "bed"...ie there is no bed. AM/FM/CD player under the dash with all the electrics including battery under the seat. Baffled pipes are just the right sound for a flatty. Firestone big and littles on steel wheels. If you are not looking for a driver this is not the car for you. Please don't bid and then decide because it isn't a show car you don't want it. The paint, body etc are all in VERY nice shape. It is a glass car but is titled as a '23 Ford and always has been. Sorry if I seem a bit tainted but I just had a kid turn away from a beautiful Milner Clone because is was a DRIVER as I said it was...guess he's never seen the real Milner car...Another guy was unhappy with an Olds mild custom because it wasn't stock...I think I've told you straight up all there is to know. Because of these other two guys I am REQUIRING a $2000.00 NONREFUNDABLE down within 48 hours of close. Then if you don't want the car you can tell your wife what a jerk I am. I have never built a car up just for the sale...this car is what I say it is and no more and no less. I will say that I never wanted a T-bucket in my life this I saw this one. It is a great car. For the record, I'm 65 in good health but after having to deal with the estates of some friends in the past few years I never want to wish that on my family..hence the sale of my cars. On Feb-15-11 at 08:19:53 PST, seller added the following information: NEW TWIST TO THE SOS. IF YOU ARE BIDDING ON MORE THAN ONE CAR DO NOT ASK ME TO LET YOU OUT OF MY DEAL SO YOU CAN BUY ANOTHER CAR. LIVE UP TO YOUR BIDS. I WILL NOT AGREE TO THIS SILLINESS OF PLAYING ONE SELLER AGAINST ANOTHER. TAKE RESPONSABILITY AND LIVE UP TO YOUR BIDS!
