Hi, I am selling my 1955 Buick Century wagon. This car is Super rare with the original Nailhead V8 and original transmission. Also has the famous 4 hole fenders She runs and drives but has no brake pressure at this moment so No, you can not drive her home. Her trans shifted through gears smoothly with no issues. I also personally knew the previous owner who drove her back in the 80s and 90s The original carburetor and a brand new rebuild kit will be given to her new owner so she car run like original again. The carburetor that is currently on her is a Motorcraft and I just cant seem to get it tuned to this motor. She has her original Nailhead V8 in her that runs and sounds great and is as quiet as can be with no issues and I do mean NO issues. That means no smoking, no knocking, no noises etc... This engine purrs like a kitten. Her body is is great condition for her year and is showing signs of rust but I would not consider the spots to scare anyone who knows what this car is. The floor boards are rusty and need some work, the interior is all there and in Ok condition. With a little bittle bit of work, you will have an incredibly rare Collector car that the value will only increase on as the years go by. There were less that 3000 of them ever made this year and most are sadly gone. This particular car is believed to be one of less than 50 left in the world so she is incredibly rare to say the least. Not to mention one of the coolest cruisers out there. I have lot driven her a bit this past summer but without brakes, I did not feel safe to go too far. She ran great and drove well. No smoking, knocking, etc.. She runs great. The nailhead V8 is the most sought after Hot rod engine of all time and is original to the car, she is a piece of American History and needs to stay that way.
