Normally I purchase new trucks every other year, but when I saw the Amarillo package a few years ago, I really wanted one, not knowing that Ford had only built them in 2006. So my search began to find a used one and I was able to find this with only 69,000 miles on it. I bought this truck from its original owner and I have pampered it since. It has been to the local Ford dealer for every maintenance and oil change. The local dealership has a nationally known diesel expert that is a good friend of mine, and the only one I let fix any problems that came up. If he suggested any repair that needed attending, I had it performed. This truck has been pampered and truly taken care of by professionals. As my personal work truck, it has continuously pulled a 12 ft. trailer every week during my ownership to all parts of the country to sporting shows carrying mostly handguns. Now obviously that’s not a lot of weight for a 350, but I couldn’t ask for more control over a full trailer going down the highway, which is what this truck has done for most of its life. I own other trucks which I use for the dirt roads and wooded adventures around my area. I have kept this truck longer than usual due to how well it has operated with my schedule every week, not to mention the comfort of the ride and overall great feel of the truck, as well as the COLOR, which really sticks out and helps promote my business. However the CPA says I need a new deduction! I’m hoping that I can find the same quality and comfort in the new 2011 F-350 as I did in this one!
