2000 Ford Explorer This was our first family car. Passed it on to my son. WE enjoyed this car tremendously until the engine went out. We replaced it with another engine straight from the vehicle. Unfortunately, it was a bad engine. So the vehicle is sound. The engine runs and can be driven to wherever you wanna drive it but it needs some serious repair or replacement. The ford dealership of course said to replace it but I'm, not a mechanic and couldn't argue with that opinion. -barely used new tires -new door lock servos and window motors everything else works. -two minor (very minor) dents, one cause we backed into the mailbox and one from the tree in the driveway. This is a great vehicle. The Blue Book value was $4500 on a running vehicle. If you are a mechanic or willing to put a few dollars into it, it's a great vehicle. I could get more money if I part it out but I just don't have the time. I will be glad to hear a REASONABLE offers
