Reserve lowered! 70 Thunderbird with the Special Brougham Option. High back bucket seats, console, reclining passenger seat and tilt wheel. This car has the original Hopsack cloth and vinyl interior that shows very little wear. Everything works on the car, even the clock. I bought this car 4 years ago. I painted it the original white(paint code M) replaced the vinyl top with the correct material, rebuilt the AC compressor, installed a new radiator and fan clutch, new brakes, replaced the steering flex coupling. I installed an Edlebrock Performer intake manifold with a Holley dual feed and added an electronic ignition. I painted the manifold the correct Ford blue so that when you open the hood, everything looks original. The performance of the car is greatly improved with these minor additions. I drive the car to shows and club functions. Otherwise, it sits in my garage with a cover on it. The wheels are 17 X 8 Coys with new 255 50ZR X 17 with about 100 miles on them. I have the original wheels and tires with the color matched wheel covers. This T-Bird gets looks where ever it goes and has won many first and second place trophies in the 70's muscle car classes at local shows. The muscle car guys are always shocked when the Thunderbird wins. The last two photos show the condition of the chrome. I've had this car 5 years. 3 in California and 2 here in Washington and it has never been driven in the rain or snow.
