Thanks for reading! Up for auction is a Mechanic's Special: 1995 Chevy Blazer with automatic 4 wheel drive transmission and 6 cylinder 4.3 liter engine. This is Blazer is up because I inherited some money and bought a Tahoe, and I just don't have use for 3 SUV's. It will be SOLD to the BEST offer, and depending if you give me a good enough story where I won't feel suckered, I quite literally might GIVE it away! I'm going to do something a bit different. Most sellers will tell you the great things and then get amnesia on the bad. I am going to START with the cons and if you're still interested, keep on going. :-) The Ugly: *** The car will probably NOT pass emissions! Therefore, this car MUST be sold to someone that intends to live OUTSIDE the metro-Atlanta area, use it for parts, or repair it at THEIR expense. Car is sold AS-IS and seller makes NO GUARANTEES or WARRANTIES that it will pass emissions. The buyer will have to sign a waiver to that effect. The Bad: Transmission IS going out. I had it replaced August 2007 at 110,149 miles. 12 month/12,000 mile warranty that has expired, but it was done at a real shop and you can have the papers. At this moment it drives but does not go in reverse. The front windshield has a crack. There are various "dings" that come with a 15 year old vehicle. The service engine light is on. The engine was replaced February 2010 at 147,492 miles. 6 month/unlimited miles warranty that, of course, is expired, too, but you get the paperwork on that. The clearcoat is fading, and is virtually gone on the hood. The Good: WILL be sold to the best offer. Smoke-free owner/driver. New (defined as within 6 months): master cylinder, A/C compressor, and FULL SET OF TIRES. Tinted power windows. Cruise control. Push-button electronic 4 wheel drive transmission. Power driver's side seat. Waterproof Red & Black (UGA grad; can't help it) neoprene (the material wet suits are made of) seat covers in the front. Split folding rear seats. Stereo with CD player. Roof-top luggage rack. Exterior full-sized spare tire with Blazer wheel cover. 2-inch heavy duty receiver hitch with 4-flat wire plug installed. Locking gas cap. Clean title IN MY HANDS. Questions are WELCOMED! INVITED, even! I do have it advertised locally, so auction may end early. However, if the car is available when the auction ends, the highest bidder THAT PAYS GETS the car!
