Sixth Generation F-series noted for the durability of the body panels as Ford used extensive amounts of galvanized sheet metal to fight corrosion. This truck was manufactured during the 1970's oil embargo and features an auxiliary fuel tank. My grandfather bought this truck new and used it around town and for hauling firewood, which is why it only has 21k miles. It had spent 10 years sitting in the Arizona desert and then I had it shipped here to Virginia but never had the time to do anything with it. It has some cosmetic damage which I've tried to document in the pictures, broken tail lights, and a well used bed. There is a small gas leak under the cab on the driver side..., I think it is where the lines from the tanks come together. The battery is new and the 6 cylinder engine starts right up. The rear tires are showing signs of dry rot.On Jan-30-11 at 17:32:26 PST, seller added the following information: I just dug out the title (Arizona), which has been signed and notarized for transfer of ownership. On the front of the title it lists the odometer reading as 77k, which is incorrect. In the transfer of ownership on the back of the title the odometer reading will have the correct reading listed, which is 21k. I don't know if the mis-match between the front of the title and the the transfer of ownership and actual reading odometer matters, but I want you to be aware.
