Here we have an all original almost rust free 1966 Bronco. No one has ever hacked on this Bronco, everything is original, and everything works. The paint is still the factory original paint, needing to be refreshed but at least you can see that no one has hidden any bad areas under a fresh coat of paint. It runs and drives and can be driven as is. I replaced the fuel pump and fuel lines, ordered a double roller timing set, replaced the exhaust manifold gaskets, and flushed the fuel tank. I also replaced the track bar bushings, and have the rest of the 14 piece bushing kit, (James Duff) and it will be included with the auction. That’s about it. I was looking for something to work on but I'm leaning another way, I feel like this thing survived in its original condition for so long it should be kept original and I really want one to build for off roading. So I guess it's better to find another one and let this one go to someone who is going to restore it. This has some very rare options. I found the original window sticker from 1966 folded up in the owner’s manual in the glove box. It also has the original warranty card, (owner’s card) too. Factory options are: Bronco Wagon ICC Emergency Flashers Bucket Seats Custom Equipment Package Extra Cooling Package HD Clutch Free Running Hubs 4:57 Gears Limited Slip Rear Axel 850LB Frt & 1280LB Rear - Heavy Duty Suspension 6.50x16" Wheels Hardboard Handling and Skid plates Rear Seat Fresh Air Heater Radio Needs rust repairs on both Drivers and Pass Floor Boards, Very easy patch, it's not to the kick panels and only at the beginning of the drivers toe board. The bottom of the tailgate is starting to let go. Very little spots on the rockers small small... in front of the rear wheels small spot mostly surface rust. In the engine compartment on the inner fenders just in front of the firewall, (no holes just swollen). Runs and drives good, shifter has a little play in it and sometimes it takes a few to get it to go into first or reverse. Clutch feels good, Brakes work fine. Emergency brake feels good but needs adjusting, (not enough grip). Doors open and close normal but drivers has to be shut harder then pass door. windows work with ease. Hatch works very easy and locks up and down as it should. There is no other rust or issues that I know of. It’s like a time capsule. Heater fan and adjusting knobs work as they should, the washer fluid button and motor work! HA I never saw one that did before! I don't see any oil leaks, but the transfer case looks like it’s covered with 40 plus years worth of grease, probably self sealed its self. Wipers work but move as slow as a snail. Here we have an all original almost rust free 1966 Bronco.
No one has ever hacked on this Bronco, everything is original, and everything works. The paint is still the factory original paint, needing to be refreshed but at least you can see that no one has hidden any bad areas under a fresh coat of paint. It runs and drives and can be driven as is. I replaced the fuel pump and fuel lines, ordered a double roller timing set, replaced the exhaust manifold gaskets, and flushed the fuel tank. I also replaced the track bar bushings, and have the rest of the 14 piece bushing kit, (James Duff) and it will be included with the auction. That’s about it.
I was looking for something to work on but I'm leaning another way, I feel like this thing survived in its original condition for so long it should be kept original and I really want one to build for off roading. So I guess it's better to find another one and let this one go to someone who is going to restore it.
This has some very rare options. I found the original window sticker from 1966 folded up in the owner’s manual in the glove box. It also has the original warranty card, (owner’s card) too.

Needs rust repairs on both Drivers and Pass Floor Boards, Very easy patch, it's not to the kick panels and only at the beginning of the drivers toe board.
The bottom of the tailgate is starting to let go. Very little spots on the rockers small small... in front of the rear wheels small spot mostly surface rust. In the engine compartment on the inner fenders just in front of the firewall, (no holes just swollen).
Runs and drives good, shifter has a little play in it and sometimes it takes a few to get it to go into first or reverse. Clutch feels good, Brakes work fine. Emergency brake feels good but needs adjusting, (not enough grip). Doors open and close normal but drivers has to be shut harder then pass door. windows work with ease. Hatch works very easy and locks up and down as it should. There is no other rust or issues that I know of. It’s like a time capsule.
Heater fan and adjusting knobs work as they should, the washer fluid button and motor work! HA I never saw one that did before! I don't see any oil leaks, but the transfer case looks like it’s covered with 40 plus years worth of grease, probably self sealed its self. Wipers work but move as slow as a snail. All lights, turn signals and brake lights work.
