For sale is a very solid 1973 911T non-sunroof coupe. I bought this very solid, running car to restore to RS specifications. Due to a change is jobs, I am going to be moving and with new commitments dont have time to get the job done. The Porsche is in excellent and very solid shape. As I have stripped out the interior I have been very happy to find no holes or nasty surprises. It is a very good starting point for restoration. The gaps and shut lines are correct, panel fit excellent, windows wind up and down smoothly ect. The electrics function as intended, so I dont believe that this car will need a rewire. There is a little rust on the inside of the windshield, on either end of the dashboard, which I understand is fairly common. There also appears to have been a small amount of repair on the front right corner of the car, which looks more like a repair of the battery compartment than it does accident related. Along with the car comes a set of OEM Porsche factory metal RS rear fenders, which fit up beautifully, so no need for the fiberglass ones which never fit as well or endure use from driving as well as these original metal ones. Hard to find and very expensive these days, these fenders are ready to fit. The Ducktail is also not a standard grp item. I had thos ducktain made in the same way as the originals were. The original metal trunk lid was taken off the car and sent to Stratton Motorsports in Florida who uses your original metal frame to bond the duck tail on to. This gives you a perfect fit back to your car, and means that the lid closes metal to metal, which is much more durable and looks and feels exactly correct. Also included are a correct set of euro spec lights, which will give the car the correct look. In summary, this is a great solid car to build into an RS clone of your liking. I am disappointed to not be able to see this through to completion, but work commitments will mean I wont be able to get to it. I have clean, clear title in hand, and the car is available for pick up in Sterling Virginia, close to Dulles International Airport.
